Skeet Leage Starting!

Skeet league starting Thursday 10/17/19 running for 6 weeks, weather permitting. Practice starting at 6pm, shooting at 7pm. Whether you have signed up already or would just like to come check it out, all are welcome!

Skeet League Opening!

  • The Hollidaysburg Sportsmen's Club is putting out feelers to see if people would be interested in starting a Skeet League, beginning around mid-October through November (tentatively).  Five-person teams with one alternate.  Each alternate will be used once in 6 weeks.
  • Top four highest scores in each team will serve as final scores for that week.  Practice will start at 6:00 pm and the League will start at 7:00 pm.  Thursday evenings weekly.
  • Price: $5.00 per 25 birds.  Teams will be picked randomly from attendees on that given week.  Membership to HCSC is not required to participate in this event.
We would like to make this a fun, friendly competition where people get together and enjoy each other's company as well as the clay bird sport.
  • If you are interested in participating, contact Tom Bennett at tom@altoonaneon.com no later than Friday, October 4.  Based on level of interest we will let everyone know if it's a go or not.

Stop The Bleed Class

The Club would like to offer a training program sponsored through UPMC, a 1.5 hour class of comprehensive training on how to save a life from severe bleeding by use of direct pressure, packing a wound or the use of a tourniquet before Emergency Medical Services arrive.  If any member is interested, please contact Tom Bennett at hollidaysburgsportmensclub@gmail.com.  Based upon level of interest we will arrange a class.  For more information on this program see link below:
